Now hiring: we are hiring a tig welder in Mason County, Michigan. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances You will read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift.
