Join our team: skimming plasterer (Pennsylvania)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. You will be based in an occupied house during renovation. You should have: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets The role involves: • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
