Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety officer in Sweetwater County, Wyoming. You will be based in a chemical processing unit. Requirements: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate On a typical shift you will update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
