Bakery assistant • Breckinridge County, Kentucky

Now hiring: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Breckinridge County, Kentucky. You will be based at a busy bakery. You will knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; score the top of loaves before baking. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Basic cake decorating and piping skills 5+ years on the tools preferred.
