We are recruiting: we are hiring a power float operator in Marlboro County, South Carolina. The role involves cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Full-time with occasional weekends.
