Now hiring: we are hiring a painter and decorator in Hays County, Texas. The job is in a paint and spray workshop. Day to day you will mix and tint paint to match colour swatches; strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns; mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting; clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job; work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers; sand and fill walls before applying primer. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for standing, bending and reaching all day • Skilled with brush, roller and spray application • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
