Great opportunity: we are hiring a tree and shrub pruner in Aleutians East Borough, Alaska. You should have: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Valid driving licence for travel between sites Your main tasks: • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers Rotating shifts.
