TIG welder wanted in Orleans County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a TIG welder in Orleans County, New York. Day-to-day duties: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut You should have: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
