Now hiring: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Sheridan County, Kansas. Day to day you will cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing Six days a week, one day off.
