Vertical transportation technician wanted in Jackson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Jackson County, Ohio. You will work in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Day-to-day duties: • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox You should have: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
