We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Saint John the Baptist Parish, Louisiana. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Day to day you will rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; measure rope tension and check for broken strands. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
