Great opportunity: we are hiring a press setter operator in Rock Island County, Illinois. You will work at a white goods manufacturing plant. You should have: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes The role involves: • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $2,700 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
