Sand plant operator • Barton County, Missouri

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Barton County, Missouri. The role involves: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $24 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
