Now hiring: we are hiring a machinist in City of Manassas, Virginia. The job is at a knitwear stitching unit. You should have: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently On the job you will handle: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
