Join our team: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Adams County, Nebraska. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. On the job you will handle: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding 4+ years on the tools preferred.
