Immediate opening: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in City of Virginia Beach, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls The role involves set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
