Refrigeration field service technician — Leon County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a refrigeration field service technician in Leon County, Florida. You will be based in an HVAC service company. On the job you will handle: • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves Ideal candidate: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds Full-time, day shift.
