Bar bender and fixer — Dallas County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Dallas County, Texas. You will work on a commercial tower construction site. You will assemble column and beam cages on the bench; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules. Requirements: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations We offer $20 per hour plus benefits.
