Vacancy available: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Douglas County, Oregon. Day to day you will trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution; trace electrical circuits with a multimeter; clean condenser and evaporator coils; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays; replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves. You should have: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders 4+ years on the tools preferred.
