Join our team: garment machinist (Utah)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garment machinist in Box Elder County, Utah. The role involves inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift. You should have: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
