Canteen cook wanted in Wexford County

Join our team: we are hiring a canteen cook in Wexford County, Michigan. You will work in a hotel kitchen. Day to day you will label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down. Ideal candidate: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
