Immediate opening: we are hiring a tig welder in Harnett County, North Carolina. You will work in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. You should have: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Own basic hand tools and PPE You will control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around $16 per hour, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends.
