Auto mechanic — City of Franklin

Vacancy available: we are hiring an auto mechanic in City of Franklin, Virginia. The role involves service and replace timing belts and chains; check and top up coolant, brake fluid and power-steering fluid; replace shock absorbers, ball joints and track-rod ends; carry out suspension and steering repairs; bleed the brake hydraulic lines and check pad wear. Requirements: • ITI / NVQ Level 3 qualification in motor vehicle maintenance • Comfortable working in inspection pits and on ramps • At least 2 years' hands-on experience as a car mechanic 2+ years on the tools preferred.
