Bar bender and fixer — Saunders County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Saunders County, Nebraska. Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level Day-to-day duties: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience.
