Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welder in Grand Isle County, Vermont. On a typical shift you will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job. What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium 1+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
