Reinforcement steel fixer — Jasper County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Jasper County, Georgia. You will work on a commercial tower construction site. The role involves: • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust You should have: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
