Aluminium TIG welder • Aiken County, South Carolina

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Aiken County, South Carolina. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Day-to-day duties: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
