Ironing operator wanted in Marion County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an ironing operator in Marion County, Iowa. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. On a typical shift you will press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots. You should have: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. $7,750 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
