Gtaw welder — Curry County

Join our team: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Curry County, Oregon. Day-to-day duties: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
