Immediate opening: we are hiring a halal butcher in Putnam County, Tennessee. The job is at a wholesale meat market. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required You will dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
