Now hiring: we are hiring a TIG welder in Monroe County, Mississippi. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Day-to-day duties: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Full-time, day shift.
