Join our team: we are hiring a packaging machine operator in Metropolitan Borough of Wirral, England. You will be based in a packaging factory. You should have: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor Day to day you will follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; set up and start the machine as per the job card; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels.
