Quality checker wanted in Southampton County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a quality checker in Southampton County, Virginia. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. The role involves measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data; record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts. Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
