Plastering hand wanted in Chittenden County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a plastering hand in Chittenden County, Vermont. The role involves: • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork You should have: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
