Your main tasks: • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals Ideal candidate: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges 6+ years on the tools preferred.
