Great opportunity: we are hiring a cabinet maker in Kings County, California. Your main tasks: • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain You should have: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings We offer $140 per day plus benefits.
