Elevator technician wanted in Tyler County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator technician in Tyler County, West Virginia. You will be based in a residential tower block. Day-to-day duties: • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators Requirements: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Performance bonus on top of base pay.
