Sheet metal welder — Lowndes County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Lowndes County, Mississippi. You will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer. You should have: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits.
