Pipe TIG welder wanted in Muskingum County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Muskingum County, Ohio. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Your main tasks: • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing What we are looking for: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Full-time, day shift.
