Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years experience as a security guard • Basic reading of English and local language for registers Day-to-day duties: • Patrol the premises on foot at fixed intervals • Check fire exits, locks, gates and seals during rounds • Man the reception desk and direct visitors to the right block • Operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door • Frisk people and run bag checks at the entry point Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
