Now hiring: steam press operator (Louisiana)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steam press operator in Orleans Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. The role involves: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Give each garment a final press before packing • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
