Vacancy available: we are hiring a tile setter in Stokes County, North Carolina. Requirements: • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts The role involves level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even; check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away.
