Urgent requirement: hoist operator (Louisiana)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hoist operator in Union Parish, Louisiana. The job is on a bridge and infrastructure project. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius What we are looking for: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • A good head for heights for tower crane work Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience.
