Safety marshal — City of York

Now hiring: we are hiring a safety marshal in City of York, England. You will work in a chemical processing unit. Day to day you will check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports. You should have: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
