Sand plant operator wanted in Natchitoches Parish

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Day to day you will apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand.
