Join our team: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Cleveland County, North Carolina. You will be based in a pharmaceutical piping facility. On the job you will handle: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator Requirements: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight 2+ years on the tools preferred.
