Requirements: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness The role involves establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; read lift plans and method statements before starting. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
