Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Bladen County, North Carolina. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Day-to-day duties: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
