Finishing presser — Liberty County

Now hiring: we are hiring a finishing presser in Liberty County, Texas. The job is at a textile finishing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
