Ladle pourer wanted in Stoddard County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Stoddard County, Missouri. You should have: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry The role involves prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity.
